About Walk and Wine

Walk and Wine Ltd organise guided walks in the vineyards of France.

In 1988, Mark and his french wife Laurence created their first walk in Southern Burgundy where they live. There are now twelve walks in France which they have created and guide themselves. They choose the hotels and restaurants, they know the winegrowers personnally and like the wine, their walks have matured with time. They are now the specialists of wine walks in France. They do not run walks in other parts of the world, they do not have large groups, they have a good following with easily 60% of their customers coming back year after year.

Mark leads you through the vinyards and introduces you to the winegrowers. Laurence gives you the historical background to the area and takes you around any interesting monuments along the walk. She also organises lunch in beautiful spots, you sit down at a table to enjoy the local specialities and taste the wines. We often have guests at lunch, the winegrower and his family, or friends who live nearby.

This creates a very informal athmosphere that everybody enjoys, even people that are reticent about organised holidays.

Everybody says they come on our walks for the lunches... Is it true? A lot of people come back year after year and bring their friends.
