Spring
Walk Date: 2010 April 24 to May 1
Duration: 7 nights

In the spring on a canal boat along the Rhône to Sète canal. The canal follows the seashore through different lagoons and vineyards, from the Canal du Midi to the Camargue and the Rhône. You walk everyday for half a day, this is a leisurely way of travelling. In the "Etang de Thau", you drink "Picpoul de Pinet" with the fresh oysters from Bouzigues. You spend a day in Sète to visit the town and its colourful fish market. Aigues-Mortes in the Camargue was Saint-Louis' old mediterranean harbour, built for the cruisades. It is now a few miles away from the sea, surrounded by salt marshes. You stay two nights In Aigues-Mortes. In the Camargue, being on the boat makes it very easy to observe the wild life, you will see lots of birds, horses and bulls. Very easy walking.

Price: £1100
Includes: seven nights accommodation with private bath or shower, Breakfast , 4 dinners with half a bottle of wine and coffee, 6 lunches with wine, all the wine tastings, visits, transfers by car, baggage transfer, an English speaking guide.
